It takes a community, and everyone has a role to play. We’ll help you find your way!
Can you spare an hour a month to help us make things better? The best place to start is by joining us at the Isaiah 117 House monthly meeting where you’ll meet like-minded people who want to help. There is strength in numbers and we can make vast improvements when we coordinate and work together. Something as simple as neighborhood lemonade stand can bring important exposure to the work being accomplished and the work that remains to be done.
Check out our Strengthening Futures initiative, where children experiencing foster care are connected to programs that help to grow their financial future, learn to play musical instruments and so much more. These programs were all started by people JUST LIKE YOU. Have an idea for how we can better support our foster families and children experiencing foster care? Let us know in the form below!
Do you have clothing you are able to provide to children who have been neglected? Food you can provide for the Isaiah 117 House pantry so the children have a warm meal? Are you willing to make a casserole for a foster family providing long-term placement? Do you have a few dollars you could spare that will go directly to efforts to improve the foster care programs in our county? Every little bit helps, and these kinds of acts have tremendous ripple effects across the foster system.
